General Authority of Media Regulation

An electronic service provided by the General Authority for Media Regulation, which allows individuals to submit advertising content via social media platforms, without the need to visit the Authoritys headquarters.

Log in to the e-services portal (Media Platform).
Select the service (Licensing individuals to provide advertising content via social media platforms).
Complete the required data.

The licensee must not be less than 18 years old.
He must not have been convicted of a crime that violates honor and honesty.
He must not have been issued a final decision by the Authority or the committees reviewing violations of the provisions of the Press and Publications Law during the past six months of submitting the application.
The content published through his accounts during the six months prior to submitting the application must not violate the media content controls.
Provide a detailed description of his account or accounts on the platform on which he wants to advertise, and prove ownership.
The resident or foreign investor must have (a license for visual and audio media advertising and publicity offices, marketing offices and advertising agencies), and his ownership percentage in the company must not be less than 50%.
Submit any additional requests that the Authority deems necessary.
Obtain the necessary approvals from the competent authorities if the advertisement requires a license from other parties.
Complete the application data and agree to the attached declarations and pledges.

Providing a detailed description of his account or accounts on the platform on which he wants to advertise, and proving his ownership of it according to the method specified by the Authority.
The resident or foreign investor must have obtained (a license for visual and audio media advertising and media offices, marketing offices and advertising agencies), and his ownership percentage in the company must not be less than 50% according to the data registered with government agencies.
Submitting any additional requests that the Authority deems necessary to verify names, or any other information related to the license application or any procedures it deems appropriate. The Authority has the right to close the application in the event of a deficiency in the data and the licensee does not take the initiative to complete it after receiving the notice from the Authority within the period specified in the notice.
Obtaining the necessary licenses and approvals from the competent authorities.
Completing the application data and agreeing to the declarations and undertakings attached to the application form.
