IP and Cable TV Distribution Platform License
An electronic service provided by the General Authority for Media Regulation, which enables beneficiaries to operate a distribution platform via cable and television using the Internet Protocol, so that it is able to provide visual and audio content through servers, coaxial cables, and fiber optic cables, including broadcasting using Internet Protocol networks. The service also includes entities that provide visual broadcasting services via a closed network (such as cable services) for the benefit of beneficiaries, with the aim of delivering the content of their activity to their own distribution points. Service cost: Fifty thousand riyals to operate the platforms. Fifty thousand riyals to operate closed networks via cable and the like.
